Has to be one of the most perfect awaydays ever. Good company up there, no traffic at all. Glorious weather so we sat on the bank by the away end watching the world go by. Into the ground, friendly police and stewards. Fantastic seat. Unlike Mr Sox who had a crap one down the front next to the nutters. Cracking atmosphere, 70 minutes of dominating the game where we should have scored a lot more than the one. Then 10 minutes of the scary Villa and then two late goals. Fantastic fun in the away end. Friendly stewards and police leaving the ground.
Still sunny outside, met a bloodied Mr Sox, thanks to the aforementioned nutters, at the gates. leisurely walk back to the car park chatting to some very nice Stoke fans.

No traffic back to Brum, and home quicker than it sometimes takes to get home from VP on the buses.

Mr Plastic Away Fan loved it. A massive thank you to Mr Sox and Leeg. Much appreciated and i'm in your debt.

I didn't even realise I was bleeding until you pointed it out. When Lowton scored it was mayhem down in the Row 2 moshpit. I ended up sat on the advertising board, fighting to stay off the pitch.

I was more prepared as Benteke & co broke through for the third and just side-stepped the nutters bull-fighter style as they charged forward.

We might be many things but we aren't dull.

For fcuks sake.

Another win should see us safe, but we won't make it easy on ourselves.  That's about the only thing we can be certain of.

Draws v Fulham and Slumberland and a win over either Naarwich or Wigan should see us home.

Did anyone get a photo of the four Villa players bearing down on the Stoke keeper with none of their defenders anywhere near....I'd love to have that in my collection.
I would love to see a photo of Stoke Keepers face at that point!

Yep, despite having driven from Stoke and dropping you off, I was only about 40 minutes later getting home than I am from a home game.

Massive win against our bogey side of recent years.

The first 45 mins was the worst 45 minutes I have ever seen from a Premier League side ( well, since the 2-2 against them at villa park a few years ago when carew scored)

Second half we lost our way - I was screaming at Lambert to make a change - everyone inside the ground could see Bowery was blowing out of his arse - he should have brought N'Zogbia on at least 20 minutes before he did.

Lowts goal was an absolute screamer - someone on Twitter has called it 'Goalporn' .

Massive shout for Guzan again today - came for absolutely everything - so different to going there and watching Friedel and Given shitting themselves for 90 mins.

Once gain the travelling support was immense - thought they were the quietest they have ever been.

And recently having been to Reading and QPR at home - out of the three sides Stoke were the worst technically - made QPR and Reading look like the Dutch Masters of the 70s - I couldn't watch that shit every week.

But it's about us - not them - and today was ace !

What a brilliant win, so proud of these young players and we have given ourselves some real hope of surviving, so so happy, I love our club so much, gotta go before I get misty eyed.

The more I see that goal the better it gets, the technique to bring the ball down and volley it with 2 players rushing out at him was exceptional, takes a lot of self-belief to even try that.  On top of that he volleyed it high off the ground which meant he gave it loads of topspin so it dipped over the keeper, you will struggle to find a better example of a chest and volley anywhere, it's near perfect.

Not long got back (via a pub stop in Walsall). Great first half, lost our way in the second and made it harder for ourselves than we should have and it was looking like a draw but i guess no-one saw Lowton's goal coming. That's as crazy a goal celebration that i've been in for years. I thought Beneteke took his really well considering, that kid is going to be some player. He did'nt have the greatest of games but still did what he needed to do when it mattered.

Oh and for the first time ever, The Britannia Stadium was'nt like Siberia.
