Anyone struggling to cancel sky, just cancel the DD with your bank. They will soon turn you off .

I think it's been said on here before but the maths are clear.  Follow your team home and away at an average ticket price of say £35 (okay I'm discounting food/travel etc but it's the guaranteed income to the clubs).  That's £1,330 per season.  Follow your team home and away for 30 years and that's £39,900.  Congratulations, you've just paid the wages of a Hutton/Beye type player for a week.  Thank you for your loyal support.  Football will one day eat itself and we'll be all that's left.

I have Virgin, but binned Sky sports and movies about 8 months ago. It is extortion. The broadband fee I pay I can accept for the fast speed, but the Sky related stuff is awful.

If everybody in the UK cancelled Sky tonight then they would be truly scuppered (despite the overseas revenue).

They would not be able to pay the FA.

But then the clubs would be buggered too.    Sky money is the drug that won't go away.

Football has been on the edge of imploding for as long as I can remember yet we keep on lapping it up.

Don't just moan on here - do something about it.

Such as?

That's what i'm wondering. I haven't had Sky for years so the only other thing I can see I can do is boycott the game. Which won't make a blind bit of difference to Sky, so as I said earlier the only losers in me doing that are me and the Villa.

On a positive note, MON will have a 200 mile coach journey with his team and won't get to bed before 2am after losing a six pointer.

I don't have Sky Sports - it's cheaper to find streams online :)

I think moving this game fucks us up entirely - we are shit on TV on Monday nights, at home, the pressure will be massive. Refs and the FA want us relegated. I am sure of it.

AGREE, loudly by the looks of  it, with your first point. Not your second though. That's quite absurd.
