Vital result, performance really doesn't matter at the stage. But it took a lot of guts & effort to drag ourselves out of that first half performance. There have been plenty of games this season where we didn't get the result we deserved so I'll take whatever luck we get, as we've earned it.

Ref was a biased twat, back pass, free kicks, the advantage rule which was applied differently, booking our players but letting their's away with the same thing.

There's still a long, long way to go, but today was a huge step towards safety. It's in our hands now & we have to make sure it stays that way.

Not sure I can remember a game without a single offside decision.

I wonder what the media view will be of Redknapp when he takes QPR down. I hope we find out. Ditto MONderland.

That's what I thought. It brought a tear to my eyes today listening the the noise the fans were making getting behind the team. The crowd was immense and up there with big Brad and Andi as the players of the day.
Also enjoyed the emotion Lambert showed, he clearly wants to do well at Villa.
A great day today.

The agility and ball control Weimann showed for his goal and his assist were astonishing. It was far more than a question of QPR not defending. Keeping the ball in play and laying it off to Benteke were almost impossible feats.

What a wanker that ref was. Did all he could for them.

The media go into raptures at some of the useless, wanky trickery Taarabt indulges in. Like taking a showy extra touch before flicking the ball wide with the outside of his foot. They suck up that bullshit all day long, and yet genuine skill resulting in a goal is just poor defending.

Piss off. Who won?

Yes I couldn't believe how Weimann kept the ball in and played it with control when I saw it from Witton Upper. Having seen it a few times on  tv I still can't grasp it. It was an amazing feat of athleticism, skill and vision.

I'm even more amazed Kevin Friend didn't blow for a goal kick. Nine bob note

Every may / June when we renew our season tickets - after scrimping , saving and arguing about the cost again with the wife - you hope for a game like today. A game that makes it all worth it . It was ace , I loved every second. Gabby was immense - Wiemann and Guzan superb too .

Best atmosphere since beating the dog shit 5-1 . Come on !!!!
