Glad we beat them. Very very glad. Vital for survival whilst dumping that shady twunt and bunch of mercenaries in the shite.
Missus reckons it is down to her as she has bet on Villa wins the last 2 weeks.

Zamora should come to us then.   We offer a very good medical rehabilitation contract.   You don't actually have to play ever, just draw the wages and let the specialists write long letters full of anatomical references to our chief executive.   Then when you are better you can leave and play for somebody else.   You may even do so well with us that you can come back and score against us.   Just post your application form to our Professional Assessment Consultants - Stas, Downing, Jenas, Dunne and Associates for the attention of Monsieur Makoun.

Haven't read through the thread as just got back but it was a real game of 2 halves, could easily have been 4 down but goal on half time and Zamora going off changed the game. 2nd half we were excellent and for the first time this season I'm convinced we are staying up.

Excellent atmosphere and I bloody loved watching my son celebrating the goals and at the final whistle, he's one very happy boy tonight! Good work Villa!

Good to hear Chris. Good to see the villa putting smiles on faces!

I leave the Lower North after the match by walking across the front and then up past the away fans. Quite a few were blarting. I reckon a few of them think they are gone now.

No, they were blarting because they had to go home to places like Greenford and Hayes and Yeading and Staines

A few extra thoughts. QPR have better players than us. It is amazing they are bottom it really is.

Samba is a beast. I have not seen a defender just own Benteke like he did today in the first half. Astonishing.

Finally I am so happy this team is fighting for each other. Very little finger pointing always supporting each other. Vlaar should take credit for some of that.

Last Sunday, as Mr Lizz was flicking round the tv channels and lingered on SSN for more than 5 seconds, I was gobsmacked to see a former overpaid, over-rated consultant who worked where I work, raving about how QPR would stay in the Premier League. I'd no idea he was a QPR fan, anyway, I've no sympathy for him. Or them.

Well what a brilliant Villa day!

It was my sisters Birthday today so I bought her a ticket for the game as she's a mad Villa fan but is unable to get too many games and she was really looking forward to it. I popped into the Villa shop to get her a shirt and then met her in the Barton Arms.
Game was fantastic better than I could have hoped for and I got her a Birthday wish on the video screen which she was chuffed about.

After the match we had a family meal in the city centre and who should walk into the restaurant but Nzogbia and sylla.

So without trying to make a nuisance of myself I discreetly took the shirt I bought for my sister and kindly asked both if they wouldn't mind quickly signing the shirt my sister luckily had with her that I bought.

Both of them were great and happily signed the shirt and chatted to me briefly though Sylla doesn't speak English Charlie interpreted.

So thanks to both of them as that final piece really made my sisters day she was so chuffed!
