Can't see us getting anything out of this if we carry on as we are. Other results are going against us too so it's going from bad to worse.

Lambert has put together such a weak team. It just doesn't look like a Premier League quality team.

"No place for the faint-hearted, Villa Park" says the commentator, unwittingly explaining exactly why we're where we are.

Lowton, previously a rare brig.....well, half-decent spot of the season has sadly declined rather dramatically in recent weeks.

He's been awful for ages.

I know QPR are in a bit of form, but they're still bottom for a reason. Why are we struggling so much at home against such a bad side?

Trevor Francis expresses surprise that Lambert is missing an obvious tactical advantage in keeping Agbonlahor against Bosingwa.

Anyone here surprised by Lamberts lack of tactical nous? Because I'm fucking not.

Very poor again in a big game  at home - tactical nous is not something i associate lambert with, he says he hasn't even worried for one moment about relegation - in that case if true he is an idiot.

The worst thing about this season is the false hope.

We get a decent result (last week) and get a sense of hope that we've started playing better. Only to be served up the same old shitness we've had most of the season.

Well. Here we are. Looking distinctly second best, at home, against the league's bottom team.
