Hang on - 'from no-hopers to survival contenders'?

Given how long he's been in charge, that's not much of an achievement.

Surely going from 20th to 19th would be enough for a knighthood?

I don't know one person that likes 'arry. Is this a nationwide thing?
It told me alot that when I checked out the Spuds forums following his sacking, the majority were happy to see the back of him. This is despite him perhaps being their most successful manager in recent history. For me he is just another MON; vastly overrated by the media but not rated at all by most fans of the clubs he has actually managed. 30 years in management and one FA Cup to show for it. Enough said.

Pop onto the Everton forums and you will see many of  their fans have similar views on moyes, as we had on o Neill and spuds on Harry - it may look ok from the outside but fans of those clubs see a very different manager to the press and fans of other clubs. I used to think moyes and redknapp did decent jobs but  fans forums suggest otherwise.

24 hours from agony or ecstasy. Or ambivalence. I never entertain the idea that we're not going to win, so 3-1 us, Benteke, Gabby, BB, and we'll score theirs too, Vlaar with a cushioned header past Guzan as he comes to collect a harmless cross.

I would love to get the three points but a draw would probably be better for us than them - defeat would be a huge blow - i think both teams will score and it will be a nerve wracking occasion - i see it being a score draw.

We will win tomorrow.

Like the positivity. Just stuck £20 on us w/ William Hill. Never been more sure of a win, fucking hate QPR and all.

I really am confident we will beat them tomorrow, Benteke will make Samba look like the pile of poo he is. They do have a class keeper, but suspect he will be busy tomorrow. They have to win and can see us catching them more and more on the break as they get more desperate. I go 3-1

Give the ball to Gabby and tell him to run straight at Samba, he'll shit himself (Samba that is).

Just seen the mighty Clint Hill is lining up alongside Samba, is there a worse player ever to have played in the premiership?

I'm a bit worried about that winger, Townsend. He seems to like playing on the right and cutting inside, something he did very well in their win over Sunderland. Massive call for Lambert on who to put at Left back as they're most likely going to be dealing with him all afternoon. I'd probably go for Bennett just to match his pace, he'd run rings around Baker.
