It's that time of year again. Anybody else going or got any tips?

I'm there on the Wednesday, the big race on that particular day is the Queen Mother, Sprinter Sacre is the favourite but at odds of 1/4 it is for the big hitters. Might go on Buddy Belero on the day's first race.

Probably drinking in the Monpillier area of the town before and after.

I'll be there for Gold Cup Day as usual.

Tips? No idea. I only worry about the first race after a few Guinness' have been sunk. Always a great day out.

Yes great....how many horses do you reckon are going to lose their lives in the "festival" this year?

If you're going, don't forget to try a "beef" burger.

It could be a bit like those restaurants where you pick out the lobster that you want to eat.

Had a lucky 15 on My Tent or Yours, Simonsig, Hurricane Fly (all on Tuesday ) and Silviniaco Conti in the Gold Cup.  All short odds but it adds up if they all come in. Money back if 2 or 3 win. Hopefully no horses will die in the making of this lucky 15.

I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday and to answer aftab's question; I sincerely hope the answer is none.

There are more people offering duff tips at Cheltenham than selling pints of Guinness but Champagne Fever EW in the first should give you a run for your money

I have a few good bets for Cheltenham this week......

I bet that I'll have to keep an eye out form pissed up Irishmen staggering around town as I drive into work at 6:30am.

I bet that I won't be able to go out and get a sandwich all week because my office is just off the main road to Prestbury for people coming from Oxford/London

I bet that I'll be driving out of town just as the Gold Cup starts. That's the quietest that 'Nam's roads get all year.

Going Thursday, I will stick to my trusted system by backing any horse I like the sound of.

Me too Bren'd. That system certainly helped me pick Countrywide Flame as a 33/1 winner last year.

I will be going on Friday for the Gold Cup. Always have a good time.

I have an e/w double on Dodging Bullets and Cinders and Ashes tomorrow.
