Very nervy game. But confidence was restored after our equaliser. Good debut for Sylla. (he will get better) But Guzan was my MOM. Positive trampling anyone out the way to get the ball and encouraging defenders all the time. PS. In Las Vegas next Sat. Will i be able to watch the match. Fox TV ?

There's an english pub called The Crown and Anchor just off the strip (in fact there's two Crown and Anchors over there). You could always give them both a ring and see if they'll have it on.

Cheers Clampy. Stopping at Planet Hollywood. So it should be reasonably close ..........

From The Mail

In truth, Villa deserved victory. In Gabby Agbonlahor, Ashley Westwood, Andy Weimann and Yacouba Sylla, playing his full Premier League game, Lambert had the best players on the field. Yet Villa made life difficult for themselves by conceding the daftest of own goals imaginable.

Sums us up really. I thought Vlaar looked sluggish but I'm not sure if he's not as good in the air as he should be or if he's struggling with injury. Next 10 games will show me.

I'd agree with a few that Lowton has had a drop off in form, I think he's looking worn out in all honesty.  We really need the option to give him a few games out.  Maybe Herd back and in the side for a game or 2 would be a good idea.

I'm glad Bannan is pretty much getting the credit he deserves after today, watching the 2nd goal all through, he was very important all through it and probably deserved it to sneak in rather than bouncing along the line.  Iknow he's frustrating but there really is a good player in there and I really hope performances like today lead to fans giving him the chance to prove it.
Bannan for me over Delph all day long.  He creates.

I think I saw Dave Woodhall yesterday selling something outside the away end ?

Oh and Ian Harte falling over was hilarious everyone was in stitches near us when that happened, just a shame we didn't score from the resultant attack !

I can't place where Planet Hollywood was now but yeah the one pub was'nt far off the Strip at all. Jump in a cab and you'll be there in 5 minutes.

Lowton reached 9 bookings yesterday didn't he. One more before April 1st and he'll be taking an enforced two game break anyway.

Fox Sports seem to show most matches.  I was lucky enough to see all of our Xmas batterings on TV when I was in New York.

To be fair Benteke was unplayable at times today. Some blatant fouling on him went unpunished but he held the ball up superbly.

There were at least two occasions when the defender was hanging onto Chris' shirt for dear life.

Shirt pulling is never accidental, so why don't refs start booking players at the first sight of it ?

The one occasion was highlighted on MOTD and the commentator said it was the worst shirt pulling offence of the season unfortunately the ref was watching the player with the ball and saw none of it.

Benteke was fantastic again in the air, winning all those knocks is fantastic just a shame Weimann and Gabby don't seem to get on the end of them.

I did think he was slightly lucky with the goal but at the moment we'll take them however they come!

I thought he was unlucky to be booked as well, like he was last week.

The showed it in slow mo on the Setanta stream and it wasn't a foul in my eyes.
