2-0 home win. I'm not getting up in the middle of the night for this one.

That's the spirit - while you sleep we will be right behind the team and spurring them on to a much needed win - at least when you wake up you might have a smile on your face :)

Feck me, quite a few depressives on here...Get behind the team, think positive. Reading are a lot poorer team than us, villa win.
Fair enough comment but some people's eternal optimism and energetic trampling of negative views draws comparison with the type of Jews boarding the trains for Poland, still unwavering in their view that bugger all is going on! I am not saying Villa are down but fans are entitled to their view that it looks likely without snide comments. A few small clubs on meagre budgets struggle year after year to get promoted then cling onto their upper tier status. The management of our fine club seem to have constructed this shambles against the odds. Perhaps they deserve this fate while we suffer the most for it?
Villa win 2-1  :)

While I am on my soapbox having a pop at the optimists, if we do survive, what then? Is everything going to be hunky dory? When Kyle Walker joined us he'd only played a handful of times for Spurs. The moment he stepped out in Claret and Blue he looked a class act. Same with Young, same with Milner, same with Laursen. The only one of the current crop like that is Benteke. The other acquisitions look shit or mediocre because they are shit or mediocre. Our squad is full of dross and with poor management and no future funds how will that alter?

I think that just might be the most idiotic, offensive, comparison ever made on here. Well done.

I can't believe 58% are predicting an away win. Are you all on happy pills? Not...going...to...happen.

Why not?

Because we have won 12 out of the last 66 league games? Because we've one lousy match since the turkeys realised something was not quite right?

It's time to stop kidding ourselves, we're goners. Our spoons are in the wall. Our clogs are flipped. We are the Norwegian Blue. Jesus doesn't want us for a sunbeam.

We play 15 minutes of good football per game. Not only can't we defend, we actively sabotage with atrocious mistakes. There has been nothing, absolutely nothing, to suggest we will get out of this.

Of course, I could be wrong...

Oh I see, don't mention the war? offensive? Sorry I damaged your delicate sensibilities by referring to the holocaust. It should never be referred to. As a comparison it is a touch exaggerated but while others have directly criticised and denigrated fellow posters who have I targeted in particular?

Can you clarify your comment? Which part of my comment offends? I suspect you think by drawing comparison to some fans attitudes that I am in some way making light of a terrible catastrophe - I can assure you I wasn't.

If you can't see that conflating the trivial trials and tribulations of a football team with one of the greatest tragedies in history is wrong, your perspective is massively out of whack. Shankly was kidding about the importance of football by the way.

Belief.

I know we have it and I hope Reading don't.
