Reckon QPR will do MONerland so we'll have them breathing down our necks unless we win.   If we can't win then just pray none of the others do.

Of the other four qpr worry me the most - they will be looking for at least 8 points in their next 4 games and we really need to beat them .

Who should Wigan be playing this weekend?

Citeh away so at least their game in hand is a hard one. Mind you, they'll be in their Champions League form by the time they play it

We'll have a storming start and go 2-0 up through Weiman & Benteke. Then we will try to hold the lead and concede 3 with the third coming in the 95th minute.
Lambert shown bent over with head in hands - the nightmare image of 2012-13.

3-1 loss. Although we will score first.

Or, 2-2.

Not entirely sure about that. Last 6 games their form has been slightly better. You also couldn't say they're underachieving. They've shown a bit more organisation than us, they're just lacking even more in Prem quality.
This will be a tough one. Not a great game either I bet.
Our last meeting at VP was an awful game. Best described by one person on here as "looking like two worms having a scrap."
Much of the same expected to be honest.

They've just conceded six goals in two games and they're below us in the league.

I'm not sure what a 'routine win' for Villa is. On the very rare occasions we do win, we're normally desperately hanging on in the last few minutes.

West Ham was fairly routine. They had one spell at the start of the first half and then two minutes after the 90 was up where they forced a decent save from Brad, which lead to a corner and another decent save.

West Ham compete with Reading for most abysmal side to visit Villa Park. They had about three chances between them in 180 minutes at B6.

Paul Lambert on season finale.

Paul Lambert has called for Villa to be ruthless in the final survival run-in.

Boss Lambert has been delighted with the performances over the past few weeks, with a host of dynamic displays since January.

But the manager has bemoaned the concession of late goals against West Brom, Everton and Arsenal.

Lambert wants his team to show a killer instinct between now and the end of the season as they look to see out games and pick up the vital points needed.

Writing in the News & Record, he said: "The tempo of play, the movement and endeavour - and the energy and sheer will to win - have been very much in evidence for a number of weeks now.

"The consistency of our performances is very encouraging as we get deeper into the final third of the season.

"There are 30 points to play for, which is a hell of a lot of football in which to compete between now and the middle of May.

"If we continue to play the way we're playing, results will come. I'm sure of that.

"The fact is that we are where we are but we've learnt plenty over the course of the campaign so far and the most important lesson has been the necessity to see the games through. It's essential in an unforgiving league.

"Too many times we've seized the advantage in games only to be pegged back.

"You have to see it out when you get into that position. It's that simple."

I was thinking this at home to Soton and Wigan ;(

Lets see if Vlaar makes himself available or has some sort of late twinge ruling him out again .
