This is the game I most fancy us winning as Reading are poor and we're way better away from home.

There's no textbook must wins as whoever says we need X amount of wins is wrong. We just need to do better than Wigan.

That said, as our best chance of 3 points, we really need to take them.

I couldn't care a less about performances for the remainder of the season. If we win 5 games through horrendous scrappy 1-0s I'd be delighted. I just want this season over with us surviving and then address our issues in the summer.

This thread has been an interesting clash of the optimists and pessimists. I have personally thought that the writing has been on the wall since the start of the year but I am desperate to be proved wrong of course, realising the potentially disasterous ramifications that relegation would bring. We just seem to lack the levels of leadership (on and off the field) and guille required to escape this situation. Some fans won't concede defeat until the maths seal our fate, and fair play to them, but if we don't collect at least three points over the next two games then the pressure will reach breaking point. I am praying for a 2-1 victory but I can't live through it so will have to check in after the 90. Benteke and Weimann to do the damage on the break.

See I can't see it as exciting as these games will potentially decide our future as a club. It's more terrifying.

Same here. In fact, this is the first game in I don't know how long where I'm looking forward to the match more than the drinking sessions before and after.
