Where have people got it from that the Met are reducing our allocation?

Direct from the Police on Monday night. 3000 max if it is possible for us to go down.
It is always possible that it gets amended but that is how it was.

Absolute bloody madness. There will probably loads of people going away for the weekend to places like Manchester, Blackpool, etc, who will then travel to the DW without a match ticket or more than likely, tickets for the home end. So you're likely to have have Villa fans in all three home stands, while there are 2,400 empty seats in the Villa end. Nice one Plod.

Totally agree, theres 6 of us currently without tickets (of whom are all going blackpool), we like many will be trying for the wigan end. But if that was to fail i guess we'll just be outside the away end. Gmp need to be sensible here

The reason the police are being moody about tickets is because West Ham had over 5000 tickets in 2011 and played up all day.

Bidding for my Wigan ticket starts at a £billion, 2 billion if you want a lift with Mr Sox.

Ahem......... you need to remember where your ticket is being sent to, before you start taking bids

This year's fancy dress theme is "British sci-fi classics of the 1970s".

I'm going as Tom Baker's "Doctor Who". Joe C has already baggsied Servalan from "Blake's 7".

You were part way towards a passable cyberman last time I saw you.

I'm worried that Mr Shin is already planning a version of Leela's jungle outfit

wigan should lose all their remaining games, so the issue goes away.

If I got the 2 billion, I was going to give you 50p, honest.

Quick question re Viagogo as I've never used it before - does anyone know how tickets are delivered? Does the seller post them directly to you or do you have to collect them at the ground?

For home games, if there's enough time, they post it. if not collect on the day at the ground. That single ticket at Wigan that was on Viagogo yesterday was collect on the day, which could pose a problem, if they decided not to hand it over to anyone with a Brum accent.

Cheers for that. I saw that single ticket yesterday but didn't notice anything about collection or delivery, but I've just looked at tickets available for other games and noticed the icon indicating if you have to collect on the day. Presumably you have to do this if it's a season ticket as they wouldn't have a paper ticket to post to you. I'm not very good at accents though.
