We went to Norwich in 95 needing a point if Palace won. Fortunately they got beat by the Geordies 4-3 and Stan bagged one for us.

"There's only one Robert Chase!" didn't go down to well with the locals.

Still 500 left for Norwich if people want to help us over the line before it gets to Wigan away.

Got my ticket this morning after hitting redial for nearly an hour! I suspect it's going to be quite a day at Wigan. We've not had a last day of the season win or bust scenario in my lifetime so it's about time we did.

Prefer not big dick- i would be happier going there having relegated them a couple of hours before their cup final .

That would be bizarre. Wigan fans at Wembley for their first ever FA Cup final and just a couple of hours before kick off they are relegated due to us beating Chelsea! Blame Sky.

I'm sorted for both. I'm surprised Norwich have'nt all gone seeing as it's a Bank Holiday weekend. Mind you at £45 a pop, maybe not.

Bidding for my Wigan ticket starts at a £billion, 2 billion if you want a lift with Mr Sox.

Or £2.5 if you want the stain thrown in as well ;)

Travel up there by train isn't cheap either.

The train never is unless you book months in advance. The last time i went to an away game on the train was Chelsea away when we beat them 3-1 under Sir Graham second time round (i think he was the manager anyway).

For Norwich the website is still insisting on away history for this season ... despite my away history being fone for previous seasons.

We'll beat Sunderland and Norwich, and Wigan will lose to Spurs, Arsenal and Swansea.

We'd only need 38 points to stay up if Wigan lose 3 of their last 5.

Where have people got it from that the Met are reducing our allocation?

Direct from the Police on Monday night. 3000 max if it is possible for us to go down.
It is always possible that it gets amended but that is how it was.

Absolute bloody madness. There will probably loads of people going away for the weekend to places like Manchester, Blackpool, etc, who will then travel to the DW without a match ticket or more than likely, tickets for the home end. So you're likely to have have Villa fans in all three home stands, while there are 2,400 empty seats in the Villa end. Nice one Plod.

This year's fancy dress theme is "British sci-fi classics of the 1970s".

I'm going as Tom Baker's "Doctor Who". Joe C has already baggsied Servalan from "Blake's 7".

You were part way towards a passable cyberman last time I saw you.
