I'm trying to keep up here

so the initial allocation was 3000 and we're just about to sell the last few remaining from that. We are then hoping to get another 2400?

Is that right?

I believe so.  A mate of mine got his in person yesterday and was told that 'with luck' we'd be getting the extra allocation.

Anyway I hope I can get one on Friday morning 'cos I've already ordered my Bernie Clifton ostrich fancy dress costume.

If it is a decider - then Manchester Police only want to give us 3,000 tickets.

If there is nothing on the game - then they will give us the full end.

Where have people got it from that the Met are reducing our allocation or that Wheelan is reducing our allocation?

Lots of poeple seem to be buying tickets of Viagogo etc and signing up for Wigan membership to pay into their end. Therefore by recuing our allocation, you would only increase the number of Villa fans in the Wigan end.

I`ve just been down to get mine. There were 38 tickets left at 1-15 and the lady behind the counter said there was no guarantee we`d be getting any more, which didn`t sound very hopeful.

form goes out of the window and its all about momentum. Which, i guess, is form...

i think Sunderland have got it going into Monday's game and will be flying at us from every angle. as we always bloody concede we know that to win a game we have to score 2. one of Sunderland's few strengths is their defence. i think they'll bag a couple and we'll not score.

Wigan, like Coventry before them, have become relegation escapologists. its not that their form will suddenly unexpectedly come good, its just that their previous suggests that they kick into gear around now. lost against Tottenham and it may not be the case this season.

if we lose against Sunderland then I think we'll become very jittery. We won 3 games recently on the back of good attacking play. if we lose any of that then our position means that we could go into a sluump due to age/experience/nerves.

Yes keep bringing my points prediction up. But you may as well bring everyone's up who aren't spot on at this point, then. i said we'll go down, I think we'll go down, fulham was a huge opportunity wasted and ultimately those 2 points could have been huge.

they've gone as I suspect we will.

I doubt they will wait to see how important the game is before deciding whether or not to give us the extra allocation. We might not find that out till the week before and that's not a lot of time to sell and distribute 2,400 tickets.

"The waiting list will remain open on a first-come first-served basis for the first 500 supporters".

Doesn't sound like we'll be getting 2,400 extra then.

The most we were ever likely to get was 4,500. I've got a feeling it will just be the 3,000 though.

I was going to take my son and sit in with the Wigan lot (my other half is from Wigan) but he flatly refuses to sit with the Wigan supporters, fair enough. In the unlikely event of Villa being relegated on the last day I really hope we don't see anybody over the age of 12 crying, any adult crying should be forced to wear face paint and a jesters hat every day for the rest of their lives.

So, it's all about momentum, except for Wigan?

And is 'kicking into gear about now' the same as their form suddenly coming good?

You just know that there'll be pictures of some fat middle-aged bloke in a Villa shirt weeping on MOTD.

Nightmare scenario. Win the next two games and  perhaps the last day nightmare can be avoided. We're certainly capable of beating Sunderland and Norwich.

We'll beat Sunderland and Norwich, and Wigan will lose to Spurs, Arsenal and Swansea.
