Ticket or no ticket a big, rousing (peaceful) presence of Villa fans in and around the ground would lift the players and the club.  A quick, sustained, Facebook/Twitter campaign would mobilize the troops.

The fans have met their side of the bargain all season - no need for further rallying cries. It's the manager and the players who need to do the biz now

Totally agree.

Quick question

what's the train station in Wigan called? trying to book our tickets online and there's a few options for Wigan  - Wallgate and Northwestern?

80 bastard quid for a return ticket...

Northwestern - we are on the 8.45 from Euston.

19.15 back.

I think that's the train we're booking too - the outward one, at least

Hopefully see you on the rattler.

Cards, warm beer, god awful jokes, and a never ending train journey to some Northern dump. It will be like being 17 all over again.

Lets all take a leaf out of that Portsmouth fans book (Isn't he actually called Portsmouth FC now?). Get the guts out on display and then make twats of ourselves for the entire game.
Hopefully not cry our eyes out at the final whistle though.

I absolutely hate fancy dress but the sight of that bloke dressed as Robin, pissed as a parrot, being led off the pitch at The Dell by the coppers all those years ago will live with me forever.  Magic

This year's fancy dress theme is "British sci-fi classics of the 1970s".

I'm going as Tom Baker's "Doctor Who". Joe C has already baggsied Servalan from "Blake's 7".
