We can keep bemoaning fouls that should be given, but it's players putting themselves in these positions in the first place when they fanny around too much or look like headless chickens. It's the same with Southampton's penalty that shouldn't have been. We put ourselves in a stupid position. In this game refs will always make bad calls. Don't give them a chance to make a call against you in or around your own box. It's piss poor be it overall organisation or individual errors we've been like a school team's D team at the back this season.

It isn't a foul, he slips. First look I thought he'd been tripped, the second replay just shows him slipping and having the ball nicked away. Terrible player.

Clark was careless -we paid the price - he is to blame , nobody else , should have cleared the ball.
He didn't ask to be fouled though, did he? Clark should have cleared the ball, but the ref should have seen the foul

It's this bad I wish we still had Collins. At least he would have sent that ball into orbit and have it come down with ice on it.

Definitely a foul on Clark. Even if his foot was slipping having it kicked away removed any chance of him recovering.

It was a bad decision by him to do what he did, but what I don't understand is that when we try to close defenders down there is always a spare one to get the opposition out of trouble. Clark had absolutely no options there. Where was the full back or the deep midfielder?

What we don't need now is two dick penalty decisions like we had at Eastlands.

Huge acres of space between our defence and midfield again, this isn't going to end well.

Well said. Blaming the ref is what Easter Island Head and Potato Head do. It's boring. The referee didn't try and do a FUCKING Cruyff turn as last defender - no it was Clark!!!
