Word on the street is that cultural luminaries Leonard Cohen and David Cronenberg are behind  the Canadian initiative.

Cohen has been deeply moved by the factory of sadness leitmotif while Cronenberg is interested in aspects of the relentless horror.

I've seen the future brother, it is murder

It's Justin Bieber. Negotiations overran last night, that's why he was late for his gig.

He is being entertained by the Sultans of Swing.

"Give him a ball and a yard of grass and he'll give you the move for the perfect pass".

"He's a nice young man, he's got a lovely smile" (apparently about Nigel Clough but whenever I see him interviewed after a Derby County game he looks more miserable than his aul'fella ever did).

Anyway, they were Stanley Victor's favourite band in 1993. The Sultans of Ping, that is.

It's hard to believe there's anyone else left out there who is both rich enough and daft enough to buy a football club.

Pamela Anderson and Jim Carey were originally Canadian weren't they? Though as she's been, briefly, on Dancing on Ice, suspect her finances are limited.
However I believe Pam could still provide the requisite buoyancy to the club!

A decent pair up front?

Or more boobs on the field to make Ciaran Clark happier.

It was the lead singer Ronnie Van Zandt and guitarist/vocalist Steve Gaines who died, amongst others. The lead guitarists Gary Rossington and Allen Collins survived.
