They're head, shoulders and most of the upper torso better than us. I doubt we'll even manage a shot as we'll defend* the 18 yard line for 90 minutes

Villa 0 Man CiŁy 4

*defend as in, sit on the 18 yard box, but they'll still score from a corner where they win the first ball and then someone on the 6 yard box (unmarked) scores.

It'll be Dzeko unmarked. I mean, their biggest aerial threat and an excellent finisher, of course we'll just let him be.

A draw (although unlikely) would be a fantastic result and set us up nicely for the next 2 games.

Their strikers will make a run to the near post closely followed by our central defenders and Milner/Barry will ghost in to nod home unchallenged from the penalty spot or the back post. Millner/Barry will not celebrate, but merely shrug their shoulders. PL will scratch his head and adjust his spectacles and I will take another swig from a bottle of Morphine Oral Solution and try and concentrate on the pretty patterns made by the floodlights.

I think this may be a case of hoping we don't let in a load of goals to make our goal difference even worse. Defeat is more than likely, any other result is likely to be by fluke or City being shit.

I've got a strange feeling we'll win this, not really sure why.

Dzeko Unmarked? Isn't that the new Tarantino movie?

I'm over tired and deluded so I've gone for a villa win.  Repeat of the cup match, 4-2 villa.  Benteke 2, gabby and weimann both 1 a piece...i need to go to sleep!

City's away form is not great. They have Lost/Drawn more games than the have Won, and they have only scored 4 more goals away than we have.

Any idea who the referee is?

If the answer is Dowd or Halsey, please make someone up, to make me feel better.

Bent is useless to us now. Ditto Ireland, Dunne and Given. Not in the manager's plans and/or injured and haemorghing money from us every week. Depressing to read about the four of them. Earning the most money and contributing fuck all.

They'll score early on,  sit back and give us plenty of possession, which we'll do bugger-all with. Then they'll get a second, a third and possibly a fourth as they pick us off with 15 minutes to go.

Unless......

City play with the same mentality they showed away at Southampton a few weeks back. In which case, we have a real chance.

The only unrealistic result I can see is a goalless draw.
