Quote from: Dave Clark Five on April 05, 2013, 01:19:51 PMIt says frozen but 'from £325'. Does that mean P8 has gone up by £30 or is it frozen?500 extra cheap STs in Upper Witton Lane as well. Get in quick. No good moaning later if you miss the boat. The £295 some paid last year was a special 'earlybird offer' which it appears isn't being offered this year. The normal price in those areas was £325 last year as well, so technically it is frozen but I can see why some wont see it that way as they are forking out an extra £30.

The previous cost for P8 was the same as the rest of the middle Witton Lane, approx £590 (can't remember the exact amount). If my memory is correct they offered the tickets in P8 and elsewhere at £295 to fill seats that previously they couldn't.

Then when my mate got one a month or two later, the earlybird offer was over and they reverted to the standard price of £325. I assumed that was also what happened with the other 'Value' areas, e.g P8.

I assumed that was also what happened with the other 'Value' areas, e.g P8.Yes, they did. P8 is next to the away fans and nobody seemed to want to sit there. I know that all the seats in P8 were sold almost immediately so I'm sure nobody there paid £325. I don't mind doing a bit of research at the Fulham game. It's still not a price freeze if we're having to fork out another £30, early bird offer or not.
I had a horrible feeling that we were all assuming the £325 would apply to P8 etc but they may have reverted them to £500 odd. I have spoken to the TO and they confirm the seats are £325 and they mentioned early bird etc. I told them the advert was misleading but they won't listen. I think they expect us to go down and have charged us the extra £30 for the two additional home games, knowing we will pay it but daren't risk it with the more expensive seats.

I should hope so being as there's 24 teams.
The early bird would have been a good idea again considering we don't know for definate what league we'll be in. Mind you like Hoyle said earlier, £325 in that part of the ground is very very good.
