why, why, why fucking why do we keep passing the ball backwads towards our own 18 yd line. just why ?

Don't you know, it's Lambert's brand of I-can-see-what-he's-trying-to-do attractive, passing football. See Houllier, G.

Or it's stretching the pitch to create more space for our attackers, which has worked pretty well at times.

The players all look confident on the ball but absolutely shit themselves when they don't have it.  That said, the back six outfield players are all 23 in under - bonkers.

Bennett has done well so far at least.  We should be level.

That chance for Walcott came from shockingly lazy closing down.

One of the things that annoys me, is that Lambert surely knew Vlaar was injury prone. His fitness record in Holland was abysmal. Yet Lambert didn't sign any cover. Twat.

Benteke is having a bad day, which usually means defeat for us...

We're giving balls away like a peado with a bag of penny chews. Again.

He's been our quietest player so far, despite our decent attacking play, but I wouldn't say he's playing especially badly.

Lowton that is idiotic, he was clearly just going to boot it into touch and you give away a stupid foul and get a yellow.
