Thought the regular match threaders had a poor game today. Very tetchy and grumpy on there. Can't understand why the likes of danlanza were dropped from the squad as the thread was crying out for that optimistic 'Villa til I die' attitude. I know its always a tough fixture when Villa are at home and the thread is forced to play a weakened team but today's was a nervous perfomance.

Very good.

Eastie was a bit off form - veered away from his Wikipedia quips though still seems solid in not being a fan of Lambert

Something we can build on.

Why did Benteke take the penalty instead of Barry?!

Why did Benteke take the penalty instead of Barry?!

Because Barry was in a strop after scoring an own goal yesterday.

Home match threaders are lack substance and moral fibre when trying to make  any sort of impression with their efforts. Their comments barely disguise an air of shame on not being at VP! They really do need the more resolute overseas Villains contribution to give the thread some credibility.
