I said he was very limited, not hopeless.

Are we talking by Premier League standards? Or Champions League? If it's the latter I'd agree.

Premier League standards.
By Champions League standards... well, that would be hilarious to even consider him.

I think he is OK normally but thankfully was dire yesterday.

Nailed on pen and free kick - soft ones to give away but fouls none the less.

COME ON YOU LIIIIOOOOOOONNNNNNNNSSS

I'm with Maz on this.  Noble had a reputation of being the next big thing out of West Ham but I've never seen him put in anything more than an ok performance, and often he's not even that good.  Given the respective experience and ages I wouldn't have him over any of our current midfield.

There was more than one player suggested in the Jan transfer thread, which got a few "Yeah, he'd do" responses, that was no better than Noble.

The result at least means Risso can get some work done.....

Indeed. Those taxes won't avoid themselves, you know.

Just reading the West Ham take on it and I genuinely didn't even realise Matt Taylor was playing.

If there's a shitter midfielder in the Premiership than Mark Noble, I've yet to see him.

And that's going some given some of our performances this season.
You've obviously not been watching Premier League football for very long then.

Noble had a very poor game yesterday, but this season he's been one of our consistently better players. Works hard, wins tackles, lays the ball off to faster more able players with minimal fuss. Limited going forwards and his set pieces can often be mixed at best, but nowhere near "shittest" midfielder currently playing in the Premier League.

QPR have probably got half a dozen worse all by themselves.

I really didn't think Bowery was as abject as the rest of you did, he eased the pressure with his backtracking and carrying the ball forward and he gave us more height at corners and when WHU tried to hit diagonals toward our full backs. I think the beefing up of the flanks with him and Baker worked pretty well until we did our usual replay of the Alamo in the last 10 minutes.

QPR are not a football club so much as an improvised explosive device, fashioned out of overpaid shit footballers.

I'm afraid Sendo it is a trait on here that if you have a bad game you are shit forever, sadly, a lot of our own get labelled the same way. However, I'm with Maz on this one :)

i went to a match at Loftus road what seems like a 100 years ago now, when they had just had there plastic pitch put down,
i'm sure we were the first team to play on it, i remember it bounced around badly that day, i'm sure we lost and i think Venables was there manager, but cant be 100% on all that without googleing it which i cant be arsed to do

anyway just thought i'd mention it, even though it had nothing to do with your post, only to point out that QPR are plastic pitch wankers

The problem for me is that he comes across as a bit like NRC, but slightly better at passing but not as physical.
