How is Bowery in not Bent in this formation?

You would think that whatever the issues that exist, to be playing essentially 4-4-2 meant that you could play Bent today. Crazy, crazy, crazy given the position we are in.

It is not 442. It is 4231 and Lambert does not rate Bent in that formation. I agree that the system must change to suit the reliable scorer.

Know what you mean.  He does show flashes of brilliance.  Not enough though unfortunately

Looking at how this game is going, we really needed Weimann to score that chance.

Baker shows his commitment, both with the cut and the challenge in their box.

Lambert leaving Bent out is unforgivable.

Did Clattenburg just tell one of the players to fuck off?

"Enough".

Lambert leaving Bent out is unforgivable.

Why? He's been shit all season.

As we all predicted, Bowery is out of his depth. May as well try Dawkins.

Maybe he's trying harder and playing better in training. Perhaps he offers more to the team.

That's crazy talk.

I respect Drummond's optimism and enthusiasm but at the end of the day it is still Darren Bent vs Jordan Bowery.

Bowery doesn't really look up to this.
