How is Bowery in not Bent in this formation?

You would think that whatever the issues that exist, to be playing essentially 4-4-2 meant that you could play Bent today. Crazy, crazy, crazy given the position we are in.

Maybe he's trying harder and playing better in training. Perhaps he offers more to the team.

Rarely that though. His match ratings during a game can swing from 1 to 9 in an instant. There is a top player in there somewhere.
