Whichever way to set up that team I can't see anything other than defeat. And if he was as chuffed as he sounded with last week, why the two unforced changes?

Neither of them even on the bench suggests they are enforced.

Why get a winger from spurs then play Bowery? Why buy a defensive mid then leave him out? Fucking baffling as usual

You have to ask what was the point of getting them in January?

If I am not mistaken we have more than one game left this season. Delph Westwood is probably best 'known' combo we have.

Just because they best known combo we have doesn't make it the best

Bennett is and I might be mistaken but I didn't know that El Ham was injured although he could have caught Gabbyitis.

What was the point of January? The results were utterly dire and the one player that we bought, who might help, who the manager has recently spoken so highly of, and is meant to provide some muscle to our midfield can't start a game. We need this win so badly, I hope he's got it right. I suppose no Bennett helps.

5-4 Villa then. Bowerty should be betterdefending corners.

We must win this. With Arsenal, Man U, Man C, Chelsea still to play we must start winning winnable games. 4 all season is shocking. (Cue English pedant's)

It's pedants, not pedant's.

Apart from that I don't know what you could be talking about.

Midfield looks poor again

Not Gabbys biggest fan but he looked better last week , so thats a bit of a blow.

I never said it did. You could play Sylla and remove CNZ I suppose. Don't stick him wide though as he is useless

Main concern is our LB position - Baker is probably an upgrade on Stevens/Bennett but he got ripped apart v Everton at the start of the season.

So they weren't bought to improve us then?

I know Bent hasn't exactly set the world alight of late, but FFS if he can't get a game ahead of Bowery

Everyone can see our defence is dire except the people that matter, it's shocking.
