5-4 Villa then. Bowerty should be betterdefending corners.

We must win this. With Arsenal, Man U, Man C, Chelsea still to play we must start winning winnable games. 4 all season is shocking. (Cue English pedant's)

Yep and given the results yesterday this is an opportunity and a must win.

We don't win "must wins" though, as has been proved on a number of occasions this season.

Regardless of what happens, I think it's the right call selecting Baker at the back over Bennett to add height, and also Bowery over the other options. We need all the help we can get to deal with the aeriel threat.

One thing that continues to worry me is that Lambert chops and changes so much with formations and the line up - we have gone from one extreme with O'Neill to the other with Lambert.

Bloody Pat bloody Murphy was just on 5Live almost creaming himself over Carroll against our defence.
Not surprising is it?

He's only paraphrasing what Simon Brotherton wrote a couple of days ago.

Why get a winger from spurs then play Bowery? Why buy a defensive mid then leave him out? Fucking baffling as usual

You have to ask what was the point of getting them in January?

In my top ten list of most loathed people in football, he can barely disguise his delight in seeing us struggle

To be bloody minded, he knew which way everyone wanted to go and went the other way. And we all know where everyone wants him to go.

Bloody hell, it's already turned into the post match thread! Still, saves time I suppose.

If I am not mistaken we have more than one game left this season. Delph Westwood is probably best 'known' combo we have.

Having seen that side, I'm not nervous. I'm shiting it.

Come on Villa!
