CNZ has shown signs that he's up for it. He's gaining in confidence but I really don't want to see him through the middle. I'd rather see him attacking the flanks, as well as Gabby too. I think we could have some joy attacking their flanks with pace. Andy can drop off to link play and make runs beyond Benteke.

I'd look to see KEA starting to look like a solid international. He looked okay in his first half a dozen games, settled in fairly well without really excelling, but he's been bobbins ever since. However, because he's got more physical stature in the middle I would have picked him today. He's played DMF for club and country in previous years, I thought we signed him as such, but he really has been neither here nor there.

Like some of the other players, I think he probably has got what it takes to be a decent Premier League player, but the blend of players is wrong. If we play 4-2-3-1, which I think is a good formation for the players we have, then KEA as the deep, playmaking type of defensive midfielder alongside a, well, a big old unit, really, would be a god combination. BUt as it is, he and Westwood are sort of the same, same with Delph, and to a lesser degree, Bannan (although I don;t think Bannan is a deep-lying defender at all, really.)

AND THAT'S A GOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! BENTEKE!

Class act. Good play from CNZ initially and an example of why he's best playing in off the right.

Can we play all our games on Merseyside? Benteke would break Pongo's record.

Benteke really is a bloody useful player, isn't he? That's a really cool finish, which is one aspect of his game I was a little less convinced about.
