wanton vandalism?
« on: February 01, 2013, 12:16:44 PM »
Does Lerner's ham fisted running is Aston Villa over the last 3 years amount to nothing more than vandalism? Ellis for all his perceived faults, could never have been accused of dereliction of duty, egotism and deluded self interest yes, but never the former. This is not rose tinted revisionism. Can Villa rise from the ashes with the current absentee landlord as our custodian? Discuss....

Spot on.  Alan Sugar said you will never make a success or money entering into a market you do not know or understand. Never have I heard a statement ring truer than in this instance

Lerner's plan from the outset was to have the club self sustainable.  He's tried to deliver that but it hasn't worked due to some crucial decisions he's made along the way.  From the start if you actually think about it.
