The second link is to a useful guide to how to reverse a car in Africa:-

 http://www.africanlicence.com/learn/453/question/

Third is a South African shop selling cameras to help you reverse-park.

This thread either makes me think of a Craig David song or that one from Snow in the 90s.

Re-e-verse, when the crowd says bo, reverser.

Re-verser, [unintelligible bit], a licky boom boom down.

I stand corrected.  Please accept my sincere apologies.

No need to apologise to me, you'll be judged in time by the gods of bad dance reggae.

I should hope so too. Apache Indian is responsible for such soulful and meaningful lyrics as:

'The English gal a do the boomshackalak
The American gal a do the boomshackalak
The Indian possie do the boomshackalak
The Yardy gal a do the boomshackalak
The Japanese gal a do the boomshackalak
And the German gal a do the boomshackalak'

All well and good, but can any of them reverse a car up Witton Lane on a match day?  I doubt it.

Blimey I started this 3 years ago after the night game loss to Newcastle. He was in a rush to get back and watch the African Cup of Nations if I remember well, trying to reverse through hundreds of Villa fans between the North Stand and the Trinity  :)

I will have a two year old to name in March and African Car Reverser would be a perfect name but it is one letter too long.

I remember John Peel filling in for a Radio 1 DJ daytime slot for a week in the 90's.He obviously had to play the songs that were in the charts,  not some Swedish Death Metal  or Wedding Present etc.
I laughed out loud after he played that Apache Indian song and said after a short pause.

" Er licky licky bum bum down, not sure that's a message we should be sending to the youth of the nation , but there you go."
