Every city has its grim parts. In Liverpool they happen to be nearly anywhere that isn't the city centre.

Drive from Speke into Hunts Cross, Old Swan, West Derby, Nozzy Greeeeen (sic), Walton, Fazacalacalaclacy in Aintree and you have managed to drive from bottom to top through a never changing dump.

Imagine a city entirely like Northfield.

The bits I've seen -
Anfield area - dump
Goodison area - dump
Fazakerley - dump
The drive from the motorway to both grounds - dump all the way

You could say the same about Birmingham if all you saw was the road from the M6 to the grounds.
Certain parts around villa park are stunning. Namely Aston Hall the park and the church.
There is nothing like that around anfield or Goodison

Yes there is a certain je ne sais quoi about Sylla being filled with Blind Hate up there.   Wish he did not smile so much though.   We need scary players not smiley ones.

Try the drive into town through Toxteth for a little post-apocalyptic chic.
Ha, I might pass on that

You can't possibly mean the sweeping Vistas of the Aston Distressway? The Sacre Couer de Saint Chadde? The Isle de Matalan? Rue de Lichfield?

Would prefer Westwood over KEA.

I think we should rest him. KEA needs games to adapt, there's a good player in there.

"There’s always been a bit of an edge between them and us because we have an identity and they don’t. Were the club they hope to be when they grow up but can’t admit it."

Jesus, how deluded can you get?

Martin Brown is on the train with us.  May be that's a sign.  Of what I've no idea.

I'll go for a draw.  1-1.
Who is Martin Brown ?

It should have read Martin Keown but the auto thingy made it Brown.
