And of those teams, I expect that going into the final games, Newcastle will be above us, Sunderland will be a minimum of one point behind, Wigan will be two points behind and norwich have a 50/50 chance of being above us. Saints will be level with us I imagine.

I cannot see Wigan or Newcastle failing to win their next games. I'm pretty worried still. I really don't want to have to get something against Wigan. It just feels so possible that they'll get a late winner.

There is no cure for irrational thoughts. I am afraid you are just going to keep on suffering till its mathematically impossible.

I don'y know if i'm shocked Wigan won but i'm pissed off they did.

I'm also nervous as hell about having to get something at Wigan to stay up.  Nightmare scenario that i'm desperate for us to avoid at all costs.

Wigan got lucky again with that stonewall penalty at the death.

Yes, Wigan did get lucky. And that's my worry. They are suddenly footballs darlings, the perennial escape artists, with swell of sympathy and support from the media and a lot of neutrals. I just hope it doesn't influence ref's decisions during games.
In reality, we should be glad to see the back of them. Martinez talking about April and May being 'WiganTime', and eveyone lapping it up, really pisses me off.

That said, it's good to see that we are getting the rub of the green at last. I certainly feel that we had a bit of luck yesterday, especially with Brad's flap right at the death.

Wigan can stay up, possibly, but its far more likely to be at the expense of Newcastle or Norwich. Even then there are another two sides below us.

We are the best side in the bottom half. We score plenty of goals and care a significant threat. Chances are, we already have enough points, but lets make sure of it and get some revenge Saturday morning.

No. They was always going to win. As soon as I saw Rosenberg in the WBA team I though Wigan would win.

Another thing to mention as well is the Stripeyfilth took off two strikers when it was 2-2.

Just watched Wigan's winner again on TV news - the Albion full back did not make a challenge when Wigan winger crossed the ball.

I bet they will give Norwich 3pts as well.

I'd stop trying to predict games if I was you Matt, it is a complete waste of time. None of us could see Fulham conceding 4 against Reading yesterday, a team already on the beach, nothing to play for etc, etc. I wouldn't be in the least surprised to see Wigan draw against Swansea when everyone thinks it is a nailed on three points for them or Newcastle lose to QPR in the latter's last home game of the season

QPR did us no favours yesterday. Whilst we're all thinking that Chelsea are after top 4, what the real aim for them is top 3. Automatic group stage qualification. Had Arsenal lost yesterday, Chelsea could've wrapped up third place with wins today and Wednesday. Even with winning these two now, they'll still need a win against us to guarantee 3rd spot so that they can spend their last day wanking themselves stupid whilst booing the manager who's got it all for them.
