Looking back at the first few pages of this thread shows the folly of trying to predict more than one game at a time. There are too many variables and there are always surprises.

Of course chris, but its all a bit of fun .
Twists and turns all the way to may 19th.

Strange that as you've probably speculated on results more than anyone ;)

Well newcastle are probably out of it now, sunderlands defeat is good news , lets hope qpr can hold on or nick a winner.
Next weeks fixtures look favourable to us.

So if Man United win their next 3 games they've won the league before they play us. Hopefully they'll play a carling cup type of side against us.

Problem is united are out of the cups so they have nothing to rest their players for , unlike Chelsea who may be in 2 finals around the time they play us.

Apologies if this has already been answered but If Chelsea get to the FA cup final when is our game against them played? Hopefully 3 days before the final and not after.

They'd probably need to get there before thinking about the date.

There's a joke in there about getting your leg over, but I'm too tired to get to it.

It's all about momentum at this stage of the season imo....and scoring goals.

With 3 wins in 4 we have both and Sunderland and Stoke with their 1 win in 12 or whatever it is don't.

So I don't see how it can translate that in the last 6 games we won't win again this season and Stoke and Sunderland will win 2-3 each (also when you consider Stoke and Sunderland play each other in a few weeks which rules out one if not both of winning a game).

We could be practically mid table if we beat Fulham next week. What a difference a few wins make!

Next weekend is now officially HUGE. Chuffed we get to play first.
Winning ours, and arsenal turning over norwich at home would put us level on points with the barcodes going into Sunday, with six clubs then below us.
And then watching as stoke and sunderland and newcastle flounder about under the pressure on Sunday afternoon would be fantastic.
I'm definitely not taking anything for granted, what with the way this season's gone so far, but I'm starting to believe that that light at the end of the tunnel isn't a massive train coming the other way!

Perfect really. QPR and Reading are gone after those results. Good thing now it's in our hands, ok a long way to go but better than it was on Sat morning.

I think it would be after, UNLESS, they also get to the Europa Final, then it would probably have to be played before the 2 cup finals
