God it is so fucking depressing, every match, you start thinking "maybe this is where we turn the corner", and every time, there's the evidence we haven't.

Sometimes from the off, sometimes in the second half, but we always look so utterly brittle and unconfident with the ball.

Great battling from N'Zogbia, and a really good run at the box, too. Much better.

I would have Ireland on instead of Bannan all day long

Because Ireland has been so much better when he has played and is so committed.

Has there ever been a a case where the possession stats show 100% for one team? Because if not, we could be in for a first, tonight.

Get a grip, it's only 80% according to BBC.

I can only think we'll go 3-5-2. Problem is, although Newcastle normally go with just one up front, tonight it looks like they're going 4-3-3.

Not sure if my nerves will last the night.

Aston Villa, helping other teams and players get rid of unwanted runs since ........

Lets hope all other matches go the correct way so we at least stay 4th from bottom.

Are you trying to cheer me up?

Looking for positives is the only way forward.

You had to dig deep for that one. ;)

We win tonight and we'll romp up to 16th.

Having 3 centre backs is a joke, people just getting in each other's way, wacking the ball against one another.

Drop Clark, gain an extra midfielder.

CNZ trying hard.
