Right, i'm off to watch Cabin in the Woods and to try and pretend the Villa aren't playing. There is absolutely no chance I will be back to check on how we're doing. No siree Bob, not a chance in hell.

Good film, that.

It is a good film, but is also a Marmite one, although I expect PWS to get all the references on the Betting board about 30 mins in.

We've hardly touched the ball and they have a free run of the midfield. The system looks poor.

Cynical foul on N'Zog.

Murphy asking good questions of Lambert, on 5LiveExtra now. Fair play.

What did he ask?

Rather than the generalities that you answer with, are you prepared to criticise specific parts of your teams play?
Could you blame the fans if they came to the Newcastle game, expecting for once that their team bloody well put on a performance for them? etc.

To which Lambert replied with general, non-specific answers. In fairness he's always been steadfast in saying he will never criticise individual players.

A system is perfectly designed to produce the results it gets

Good movement from Bent there, I suppose, but the first five minutes Newcastle have waltzed through us as if we had no midfield.

Can you believe that?!
