Who else do you pick in the centre of midfield though? With KEA and Delph out your down to the two picked and Ireland.
a 3 man midfield of Clark, Westwood and Ireland is what I'd have gone for.

Keown talking through his anus on 5Live. Mispronouncing names and claiming that Guzan's only been in because Given's been injured. I don't want people talking about Villa when they clearly know nothing.

Clark.  He can't defend, but he's better defensively than Bannan and Westwood.

So that's a 3-5-2 again, is it?

Great.

The fact that Newcastle have not won away is very worrying ..
Or scored from a corner

No team ever break a hoodoo against us, ever.

The worst thing about this sort of thing is the clueless twats you'll hear repeating it like it's gospel for the next few months.

Me too.

And me.

Lambert doesn't see Clark as a MF though - said it in that pre-season forum thing, quite insistently, "he's no midfielder".

Hmmm. Not quite sure about that.

If he's no midfielder, Benteke's got a new partner, 'cause he's certainly not a bloody centre back.

He sure as heck is no defender, so you might as well try him in the midfield...

Newcastle are favourites to beat us, a team that hasn't won away from home all season... jesus, I just wish we could get out of this gutter!

He's no defender that's for sure.

Gary Lineker's tweets littering the BBC update feed. Didn't he make a song and dance about leaving Twitter a couple of weeks ago? Worra twit.

I had been following his son until he started to clog up my feed then, the clincher, began slagging off the villa. Unfollowed him about three weeks ago.

Forgive my ignorance but why would you follow his son?
