Who else do you pick in the centre of midfield though? With KEA and Delph out your down to the two picked and Ireland.

But someone more suited to the role than Bannan two f*cking weeks ago?

I'm really worried about that line-up. I think were going to get murdered

TBH, unless we got players in, no matter which combo was in midfield we were going to struggle. The only hope we have is that Sissoko has a touch of the Makouns and not the Tiotes.

I can only think we'll go 3-5-2. Problem is, although Newcastle normally go with just one up front, tonight it looks like they're going 4-3-3.

Not sure if my nerves will last the night.

I hope Clark's in there, because we really do need numbers in midfield. Just the two of them will get hopelessly out-maneuvered.

Gary Lineker's tweets littering the BBC update feed. Didn't he make a song and dance about leaving Twitter a couple of weeks ago? Worra twit.

Playing Benty in a struggling side means you are effectively playing with ten men. He contributes nothing in terms of build up play which puts our paperweight midfield under even greater pressure. I fear this could be another evening of frustration and misery. Baz is quickly becoming a fixture in this side when he would not doubt struggle to feature in your average Championship side. If we don't bolster our midfield by Thursday we are in the doo-doo. Still, fingers crossed as ever. UTV.

Aston Villa, helping other teams and players get rid of unwanted runs since ........

Lets hope all other matches go the correct way so we at least stay 4th from bottom.

Well tonight will be predictable... Newcastle get their first win away from home, they score from a corner and one of their frenchies will get a goal.

Sorry for being so positive guys.

We could get arseholed with that midfield. Is Herd injured?

I had been following his son until he started to clog up my feed then, the clincher, began slagging off the villa. Unfollowed him about three weeks ago.

Disappointed to see bannan playing - rather clark and westwood in midfield.
