The real worry for me is our home form, at least away from home we seem to perform a bit better but we struggle badly at villa park- 3 wins in 14 months in the league is shocking.

Maybe that's because away from home they haven't got 30K+ fans waiting with baited breath to moan and groan at every misplaced pass.
Under the circumstances the fans have been fantastic home and away given the complete and utter shit we've had to put up with over the past three seasons. To say the fans are somehow to blame for poor performances is utterly unfair,it wasn't the fans that removed the whole midfield against Bradford was it?
There has been no call for his head, no booing, not a word of abuse or stick, but I think tonight will be the tipping point if we lose.

I've just been chatting to someone and we said the same thing. It could be a Bolton type scenario which is not what we need.

I dont think randy will take any action  if the fans do turn on lambert .
The tipping  point for me was reached weeks ago.

I don't agree with that. I think the fans have been very good on the whole. Not sure that's going to be the case tonight.

Don't make further excuses for this team - good players perform under intense pressure, if they're good enough - clearly these players aren't up to it. After all, they're paid obscene amounts of money for what they do.

I'm tired of hearing words from Lambert, I want to see action. I want to see that our problems are actually being addressed.

At least it wasn't John Gregory saying that.

Why? If we lose  to a very poor Newcastle side who have not yet won away from home due to PL's poor tactics and substitutions, the fans would be well within their rights to demand a change

But.......''we go again'' 1-3 defeat and we'll lose at Everton on Saturday.

I won't be at this one due to injury.

So we'll win. 4-3.

Newcastle have not won away, and not scored from a corner.

1-4 to them. 2 from corners.

Last Tuesday's result has thrown a spanner in the works for those of us pre-match superstitious routines that get dropped after a home defeat. As depressingly disappointing as it was, we did actually win the game and a late Andi Weimann winner tonight will do just fine.
I think I'll risk wearing the string vest and Beatles socks again.

I'm not talking about the manager getting abuse I'm talking about the players, I'm talking about the groans of discontent at the first pass that goes astray or the first time a player gets tackled. At every game I've been to since this bad run started it's got progressively worse. I understand we all get frustrated but at the end of the day it doesn't help.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record now but any booing or spleen venting should be saved until the final whistle.

It should be but more than likely won't though. Like lots of us have said, it all depends on the performance we put in. I am still going for a win tonight and another good result at Everton at the weekend, a draw there would be fantastic at the moment.
