I think there might be a couple of bedsheets out today. I've seen a couple of photos on Twitter questioning Lerners ambition

Pardew is a b*llend. They are in it as much as we are and their confidence is weak too. Hopefully, the new signing will need time to bed in.

Please Villa just get us 3 points and give us hope!

Especially with all the bed-wetting that has supposedly been going on.

He may be a bell end but at least he's recognised he needed to sign some players pronto, rather than waiting to see what's left in the bargain bins. Nursey reporting that we missed out on Sissoko mmmm I wonder why that is?

Wouldn't rely on Nursey's reporting, not the most reliable source of information based on previous articles he's published.

From the horses mouth I'm afraid at the press conference yesterday

Since when did Sissoko become the saviour? All of a sudden it's like he would have been the answer to all our problems (Not directly at you but in general on here).

Well he's exactly the sort of player we need. He wouldn't necessarily be the 'saviour' but he would have been a massive help, hopefully we have an alternative lined up.

Just saw on SSN that it is seven years since Newcastle won at Villa Park.  The scorer of the winning goal that day - a rather young and chubby looking Charles N'Zogbia!!  He's well overdue a goal for us, so here's hoping he can get one tonight.

I've seen these too and my opinion would be don't bother, go down there and sing your hearts out for 90 minutes then do any spleen venting at the end.

These players are fragile and need vocal support, forget how much they earn or how many bad games they've had this season, let's just support them in what is undoubtedly the biggest game of our season!

Just my thought also - if a team needs to break a bad record - who are you going to call - Ghost... I mean - Aston Villa

Coupled with not winning away all season a la Swansea last season

Any bad run has to stop at some point - but why does it always has to be against Aston Villa? (it feels like it is always against us)

I reckon we'll draw tonight. 1-0 up at half-time, having had the better of things, with to equalise at some point in the last 15 minutes. Sound familiar?
