According to the form Stats... we stand a higher chance of loosing this one that newcastle...

http://www.eplindex.com/25256/how-sides-fared-top-and-bottom-teams-season.html?

We dont seem to be too bad against the top teams...

Our problem looks like its not winning the games against the teams around us..

Worrying really!

can we start the barcodes post-match thread now, and get the moaning bitching and crestfallen, despondent dejected outbursts out the way?

I don't think Lambert is able to motivate his players, especially after conceding a goal, based on the last few performances when we take a lead and then lose it, so the best I hope for is a draw, relying on the Bar Codes new players not yet gelling and a dose of wishful thinking.

Todays press conference - Baker and delph very doubtful , dunne may be involved.

Does that mean ''wee'' Barry in midfield again? I love those overhit corners!

22 min Benteke

half time talk by Lambert

47 min  white stripe from corner
69 min   black stripe  from corner

1-2

Noocastle are shite , we are worse.

There is so many teams playing Villa on a bad run lately but it makes no odds when you play the Villa.

If Delph is out KEA can forget his jet-lag and bloody well play like a man for once.

I just hope the crowd stick with them through the game, we can boo vent spleens and give them a round of fucks as much as we like at the end, IMO support throughout the game is paramount tomorrow night.

Doubt it will happen though.

No Jet lag from South Africa. Same time zone plus or minus 2 hours.

I agree with this. There will be some who will be disappointed if we win.

Dunne's been training for the last two weeks. I'd seriously consider starting with him... it's not as if we have the luxury of getting results and allowing him another week or two. That would allow us to move Clark into midfield to replace Delph. I'd start with:

Guzan
Lowton Vlaar Dunne Bennett

Holman Westwood Clark N'Zogbia

Benteke Weimann

Subs: Given, Baker, Lichaj, Bannan, Bent, Carruthers, Ireland

That midfield could be structured as a three, with N'Zogbia roaming around in front.
