To be fair most of us expected Villa to lose (hoping against hope that we wouldn't), so nothing has really changed. It wasn't an upset as Millwall were favourites to win, so the match went as the bookies expected.

The problem is that for the rest of the season Villa are going to be the underdogs in most matches which basically doesn't bode well as that means Villa will have to play above average to win games, which at this moment in time is an impossibility!

Our players don't know how lucky they are. With the exception of Benteke I doubt any of them will go onto play for bigger clubs. They really are doing a great job of fucking this up. I'd love to go down to the training ground and let rip, or even stick my boots on and get stuck into them.

Not being behind the team will only contribute to the down fall of our great club. Winning on Tuesday and this will be forgotten.

A bit like when we won against Liverpool it made everything all right.

yes mike like me and perhaps many villa fans after that result you felt we were on our way up?
Coz being a follower of the villa I'd imagine you thought it was a fantastic result and had good feeling about our team and club. Do correct me if im wrong though i seriously doubt it.

Fernando, mate, I can only assume you are a younger supporter. Us older guys have seen this all before. It'll end in tears.

We were giving the players dogs abuse at the end, telling them to chuff off.

Vlaar was clapping and then holding his hands out apologetically.

I felt a bit bad to be honest. Its not the effort that's lacking, ots extra quality and a manager who has the first fucking clue howto organise them.
I felt bad about that as well.
There is so much rage that someone is going to get it, even if it is other villa fans.
Tuesday night will not be pleasant.

Okay we last won in league Dec 15 a great win at Liverpool. We won our last match despite not winning tie and we got a point and were 2-0 up @ WBA. Moaning on here isnt gonna make anything better if Villa had a nice win Tuesday and/or we sign a couple of players I think different attitude would be shown. What i'd hope is a supportive attitude is shown regardless till the end of the season. It may actually help the team to have a good vibe. All the negativity is mis placed. What will be will be trust that our players will learn. Up the villa

Rubbish.- wake up and smell the roses pal!

sorry what is actually rubbish? Not clear as my comment is valid and makes sense.  Would you not have a change in attitude and be feeling more positive with a few signings and a nice win v newcastle? You so would! I also dealt with facts. We actually won our last match at home and only lost once this week! Yes we lost tonight lets not go overboard.

sorry Fernando , you are winding us up?   last game at home against Bradford  ffs

Yes, yes, we keep saying that, though, don't we?

Win against Wigan and it'll be better. And we don't. Go through against Bradford and it'll give us a boost. And we don't. Win against Milwall in the cup and we can get a bit of confidence. And we don't

We deserve what we are going to get - relegation, that's what happens to teams who hardly ever win football matches.

I can put up with shitness if i have to, but knowing that people who are supposed to know better are sitting by doing absolutely nothing about it makes me want to punch something.
me too, have you decided what yet?

why dont you talk about it?
Also you can't change the past and Lambert is quite right you pick yourself up and carry on. Look forward to the newcastle match and see what the boys cans do. Talking of getting rid of Lambert and his staff is nonsense for me. A draw and there would have been comments of not needing an extra cup game. Our cup finals are ahead of us. Lets look to beat the teams  around us
I apologise in advance but your optimism is just coming across as annoying at the moment. Fair at for looking on the bright side but even the optimists and glass half full out of us are completely down and dejected. I'm 31 and have never experienced anything this bad. I can't see a way out of it as I'm sure most cant and one bloody flag waver stood on a hill of body's does not mean the war is not over. Being realistic this team will not get out of this. Newcastle will beat us unless something changes

That's the ownership's fault. I don't have a problem with most of the players, they're just not good at all. If I were to select a Premier League team I think Guzan, Vlaar, Benteke, Weimann or Bent would make it. Obviously not in the same side necessarily but they'd be involved. Westwood will make it and probably Lowton, but other than that no thanks.

Fair play to Fernando, I just wish I could feel as optimistic right now.
