Kendrick also tweeted that people shouldn't read too much into the fact that Vlaar's doing the press thing tomorrow. Shame, I like reading too much into things

@MatKendrick: Wouldn't read too much into Vlaar doing the presser. Probably because the manager doesn't particularly fancy facing questions right now...

I'm sure he doesn't

larf. Lambert's rapidly losing the plot if he's hiding from the press.

Vlaar has got the speech ready:

Gaan we weer.

You can guess what this translates to.

I'd play the entire reserve/youth team. Then lock the first team in the training ground and constantly work on defending and set plays

                            Given

Lichaj -----  Vlaar -----  Williams ----- Stephens

Carruthers ---- Holman ---- Westwood ---- Bennett

                Weimann -----  Bent

Subs:
Guzan
Clark (consider giving both him and Vlaar a half each to keep them fresh for Newcastle)
Delph, Ireland, Bannan, Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia

Why would you want to play a left back at centre half?

Derrick can do a job there if that's what you're worried about.

I actually think it will be "after the horse has bolted syndrome" and we'll win easily.

Also... meh!
