A 4-0 drubbing by the Villa, Gabby 2 Benteke 2. A new positivism will arise before and after the game and those that have been boys will become men. Every nerve and sinew will be stretched and the sweat of previous disappointments will be turned into the sweet wine of success. Expectations will at last be realised and those that have pledged allegiance to the claret and blue will once more walk with a jaunty step. Be loud, be proud, for this is Aston Villa Football Club and it is perfect.

Everytime I think Bradford I think 5-1, just cant get that score out my head. I mean that would be great wouldn't it?
But I think I was thinking 5-1 before the first leg, and it wasn't was it ? Could have been 5-1 though.

5-1 Villa win, Bent with a couple of the bench.

Westwood is cup tied,
Delph deserves a rest after the knock.
Weimann, lets let him fully recover, is is too important.
Bent has to earn a place off the bench.

The demons from the first leg need to be well and truly exorcised. If we dont win then it could lump even more negativity on a team with fragile confidence.

No one deserves a rest and we cant afford to rest players if they are fit enough to play and improve the team.

I've got absolutely no doubt we can score enough goals to win this tie twice over. And that's all I'll say on the matter.

2-1 :( We won't keep a clean sheet. Will squander a good few chances too.

If we line up with that midfield at least Bradford will be tempted to come out and attack us and try and build on their lead. For years we've struggled to break down packed defences so that might suit us.
Hopefully Delph will be fit though, he played on a long time yesterday with that injury so you'd expect it wasn't too serious.

Yep, would much prefer us to rest player in the FA Cup tie on Friday than on Tuesday.

If we have learned nothing from the first leg, can we please have a ball winner in midfield? Jones ran the game for them and will do again unless we can have Herd/Clark sitting on him and stopping him. He may not have much ability but he wins the ball and pushes them forward. Nullify him and we'll absolutely slaughter them.
