Cant see him walking on the eve of a semi final , it that goes badly then who knows.

I really fancy us hear to nick something.

They’re in a terrible run of form too and have lost six out of their last ten. They may have been the better side against Reading, but to concede three so quickly shows they’re fragile with the amount of injuries on show.

Morrison is their key player, but with Vlaar back, I fancy a 2-1 win. They can have the moral victory.

By the by, anyone unconvinced by Bannan playing in a more advanced role should take note of the fact that he has the highest cross-completion rate in the league by miles - all the other top six are at around 30-35%, while Bannan is at 46.6%. Considering how few chances we create, his inclusion in the team and up the pitch, in place of of the likes of Holman or Zog, should be obvious. Hopefully we'll have someone more aggressive behind him in midfield as a compensation as well.

I disagree. His crosses create pretty much most of our chances which get missed so frequently. That and Weimann's movement, which is our best attacking asset IMO.

The free kick to Benteke which forced a good reflex save from the Southampton keeper was brilliant. He had a few good crosses in that game, in fact.
