next 6 league games -

albion
newcastle
everton
west ham
arsenal
man city

if we cant beat wigan & soton at home i can't see many points from these games, maybe 5?
2 is a realistic guess

Charles N'Zogbia: only turns it on against League 2 opposition.

Whereas the rest of the midfield are just awesome!

The rest didn't cost millions, don't earn as much and aren't experienced "proven" Premiership players though.

I take your point but I don't think it's fair to single anyone out for critisism, collectively we're absolute shite

Lambert looks lost on the touchline.

Can't believe what's happening. We must sign new players. We can't go on like this.

I am beginning to get resigned to the fact that we are going down.  Unless we get some decent players back from injury and buy some decent players we are fucked.

I feel the same. With all the positivity and best will in the world, the team is just lacking in every single department and those that run the club seem unwilling to try and amend this.

Lambert looks like he's wearing the thousand-yard stare.

I am about to board a plane at Heathrow airport for a transatlantic flight, when I arrive I am hoping to see a text that says we at the very least drew, even better we turned this around and won.
That said I'm expecting to see one that says we lost and 24 hours later to see one that says Paul Lambert has parted company with Aston Villa.

Good luck my friends, here's to Villa surprising me.
They have surprised me, I didn't think we could get this shit this quick...

Wigan and Reading are both a goal down but I still don't feel very well.

of the biggest clubs down at he bottom I now reckon without any significant change in players for us by Jan 31st that one of us or Newcastle will be gone in May. They look almost as inept as us.

As much as he doesn't appear to know how to arrest this sharp decline, I can't help but feel sympathy for him.  He's basically being asked to keep an U21 side in the Premier League.

They'll be queuing up to sign.

Agree completely, but I expect certain things from certain players. A player like N'Zo (who we've seen what he can do at previous clubs) should have done so much more since he joined us. Especially now when we're struggling, we need players like him to step up.

And that was a fucking foul on Weimann.
