My lad said he can't wait for tomorrow's match - "we have to get behind them and we must win - we can help"

Every time over the last two and a bit seasons he has said this I haven't been able to bring myself to tell him that it may not matter how much we care and it affects us but we may still lose - where did my blind faith go?

I've taken my missus to eight games and she has seen us win 8 times, including Prague.

I will have to dig her out for some of these games. Maybe even make her dye her hair ginger so she can be the living personification of the Orange Dot.

Do the collars need to match the cuffs?

Besides, I had enough ginger fanny to last me a life time after last season.

Don't think we'll see Bennett tommorrow. Either Baker or Stevens at left back I reckon. Vlaar would've probably been given another week but for the horror show at Bradford, needs must he starts I think.

Surprised people are putting Gabby ahead of CNZ. N'zogbia for all his many faults at least looks lively these last two games so I'd push him right upfront alongside Weimann and Benteke.

Southampton let shed loads in aswell let's not forget.
On that note i will go for a 7-6 win for us and to hell with the depression. C'mon Villa FFS. UTV.

I keep telling myself it can't get any worse and our glorious comeback is only just around the corner. It has to happen eventually.

2-1 Villa.

Is Makoun still on the payrole?   He was neat and tidy if you wanted to make a quick 8 yard pass in the middle of the park.    Who bought him?  TSM or TOFart?

Houllier bought him; he's on loan at Rennes because we had issues with his work permit.
Surely we have "experts" at the club who are paid to look into importnat things like work permits etc.

Of course. Just like we have experts at the club that teach the players how to defend.

Got my ticket booked for tomorrow. C'mon Villa I haven't seen a live home win in about a century, can we start tomorrow?
Followed by a couple of sturdy midfielders and a bit of Brazilian flair...
Can't help with the other stuff but you can try The Rocket Club on Broad St for the Brazilian Flair
:)
