Please don't tell me we've got to sit through another 90 minutes. Send Lerner out to the centre spot at 2.55pm to wave a white flag instead.

I'm not sure I could back this side to beat any professional football team in England right now - would be ver happy with a point and pray for reinforements in January.

Can easily see us getting absolutely walloped again though.

Until we sort the defence out with some proper defenders we'll continue to concede shit loads of goals. Saturday will be no different. Let's hope for some kind of miracle.

Think to try and stave off utter depression in going to be putting a bet on Villa to concede over 3 goals. May as well make some money out of this shite (ps u won't be able to bring myself to do it)

A game we have to win but we won't we are dreadful can see Southampton winning 3-1.
If we lose this will be the game where the crowd starts to turn so I can see this getting
ugly on Saturday.

Regardless of last nights debacle, I haven't had a good feeling about this game. Soton will dominate midfield and tear our defence a new ringpiece. Our team have no bottle either and have looked a bag of nerves in our other must-win games. Yes, we beat Reading but we looked really nervous throughout that game and were just lucky they are so utterly shit. I think this will be 3-1 to Soton. If this does transpire I for one will be calling for PL's head and I'm sure many will join me.

2-0 at half time. 4-1 at full. Another soul destroying afternoon. After which we will need a people carrier to arrive on Monday with players who can defend.

Just remembered that we will probably have to stick with Delph/Bannan in centre mid FFS! Unless Westwood is fit which is possible I think. If he isn't, I would mind Clark being moved to DMC with Lowton going to CB. Herd or Lichaj can play at RB.

And a manager that can organise a defence

If it's another heavy defeat, then he should probably go.

Fuck knows what the result will be.
