Feel absolutely numb. Disbelief! Keep thinking that things will eventually reach an all time low and things will eventually begin to improve. Now worried that this all time low will be relegation at the end of the season. Look forward to work in the morning and the abuse and humiliation that will surround me throughout the day. No heart, no spirit and certainly not the Villa team i've followed all my life. I really do hope they have sleepless nights tonight because they really should be ashamed of themselves.

As a football supporter I am very happy for Bradford fans tonight. They are a good club with some history. They have had absolutely crap time of late however today has been good for them. Their supporters were a picture of joy in and around the ground before the game , during the game and obviously after. Good very good memorable night for for fans. Sometimes this is how it should be.
Sounds like you've had a beer

I concur with that. Well done Bradford. Much as I hate to say it, they clearly wanted it more and thus far have been respectful victors.

Have we broken the record for the amount of guests on tonight?

Well said! Didn't realise till today that they'd won the FA Cup. Still want us to tonk them in the second leg.

BTW for some perspective!

At home as well as with a much stronger team than we had tonight, oh the humiliation. Maybe Utd should have sacked Fergie there and then.

Do you know the bit I hate at the moment? It's when you wake up in the morning, dreading work and then you remember the fucking score line from the day/night before.  And it's happening a lot lately.

What I hate about nights like this is knowing, just knowing, that the headline on the news report that I'll wake up to in the morning will be a hysterical retread of Villa's latest debacle.

Trouble is, we're not big news anymore. Even the press won't be surprised by this and the only reason it'll make the back page is because it was the only match played on the evening.

The only time we are first on MOTD or near the front in The Sun's Goals pullout is because we've just played Utd, City, L'pool or Chelski. It's no longer off our own merit. Next year will be worse.

I bet they didn't lose 8-0 a couple of weeks before.

Can I respectfully ask the guests to fuck off and let us drown in our own misery alone.

All credit to Bradford, they showed up and played, we let it happen. In a way I'm glad because hopefully it will give this lot the absolute kick up the arse they thoroughly deserve.

Fair play to you for making it up there. They don't deserve supporters like you. I doth my cap to you.
