Looks like a gung-ho 4-2-3-1. I like it.

Edit: Hawkeye, disagree, I think it'll be a central partnership of Weimann and Benteke, with Gabby left and Zog right.
I didnt say Gung Ho but it feels a little like it, the key will be Nzog putting a shift in, where ever he plays.
I still think its 4-2-3-1 but hey it could be 3- 5 -2

Everyone of our entire squad is better than theirs. Young or not every player would walk into their side, we should be motivated and hammer them.

As I've mentioned a few times, Lambert only knows gung-ho. The word 'caution' doesn't exist in his vocabulary.
I just hope our little 'uns in central midfield don't get bullied. They'd not be exactly top of list of players to protect our dodgy defence.

Not suprised Bent left out, after 2 months on the sidelines and a match at the weekend, I'm sure he will appear in the 2nd half, we have to save some powder for the weekend.  Come on boys let's have an easy night for once, my nerves are shredded already.

The word in that post that worries me is 'should'....

Slight miscommunication there, I agree about the formation but disagree about Zog's position, though I do agree about the putting the shift in bit. And I think the team's pretty gung-ho!

Absolutely. So often when he plays it's like playing with ten men.

Very positive selection from Lambert.

I thought it'd be tough, but now the games here I'm very confident.

Tough start and our defence to cave in, but us to win comfortably in the end. 4-2 Villa. Benteke hattrick.
