I would go with Bennett, Baker, Clarke and Lowton across the back with Given in goal.

There is such a lack of options in the midfield though. Delph did quite well against Ipswich, especially when he changed the pace and drove forward. I would imagine Bannan will get the nod ahead of Herd.

Then its a case of who do you pick for your front four?

I am tempted to go with Bent, Benteke and Weimann, with N'Zogbia roaming. The later and Weiman can draw wide at points too create a bit of width. I think Charlie has looked good at Norwich and against Ipswich and would cause Bradford a lot of problems. But then he may want Holman and his running to squueze Bradford.

I'd go for CNZ and Gabby either side of Bent for this. That's more than enough ability to twonk Bradford, with all due respect to them.

Slightly disingenuous i know  but I didn't accuse him of supporting anyone else. 

I merely suggested he might want to consider following our neighbours as they seem to have a similar philosophy of putting weakened teams out in cup competitions.  ;-)

If Lambert can get the lads up for it from the first minute we'll destroy Bradford. They've been on a poor run since the Arsenal game which is starting to look more and more like a one-off. Team selection has to be first based on players who are up for a fight, as Bradford will give everything they have and try to get in our faces. Midfield is key, win it and we'll beat them. Give them to much space and they'll test our suspect defence.

My only worry is Lambert doesn't seem to understand the tactic of being cautious and no matter what the formation it always ends up very gung-ho. Our midfield is far too weak defensively, not to mention physically, so I'd be tempted to put Herd in there to break things up, allowing the likes of Bannan to do what he does best.

Whatever midfield we put out it should be better than anything they can offer so I'm not too concerned about this area.  In any case, Delph had his best game for us against Norwich in the last round and that form will certainly be good enough against a team 3 tiers lower.

seriously, over two legs we should have enough to beat them, strangely I am abit excitedly nervous and really looking forward to going to the game and if we have the same vocal support as we did vs Norwich then it will be a great night.
