Charlton kicking off!?
If ever there was a friendly place that is it.
Just goes to show. Don't judge a book by its cover.

And in both occasions, Leeds and Charlton tried to kick off
Blimey, how wound up do they get when the opposition get a throw-in?

Not the same anymore! On the whole there a nice club but not when it comes to Palace and Millwall

There may be some on here who remember playing them in the 70's, believe me they will remember us.
For all the tales about visits to Cold Blow Lane (and mostly true) what about when they came up here?
Was it the League Cup Quarter Final we beat then 2-0 and then ran them ragged round Witton and Aston in their stupid white caps...

Correct - League Cup Q/F in December 1976. A few frank exchanges of opinion were made after the final whistle.

I was 11. My Dad took me and my mate in the enclosure seats. I always wanted to be next to the tunnel back then.
There were, I think, 3, maybe 4 Millwall sat in front of us who would not swearing. My Dad asked them to stop and when they wouldn't he smacked the biggest one. I seem to remember a few other Villa helping my Dad, then the Millwall blokes left.

When/how do we find out about this mystical train that takes us from London Bridge to South Bermondsey?

There are lots of trains that run from London Bridge to Sarf of the River.

Look on the departure boards in the main station concourse for trains to East Croyden, they run pretty regulary but maybe a bit busy as its a Friday around rush hour

And you could take in a ground level view of the shard building as it is right above London Bridge Station

Apparently there's a "special train" for away supporters that the OB put on to get everyone there together. I'm capable of searching for run of the mill trains.

They'll be plenty of officers about

Got mine about 30 mins ago from Goughie. Despite what the OS says there is just one ticket per client reference and the woman was in a right arse about it when she had to ask her someone else.
